The woman who owns & runs this shop is not very nice. She was gushingly nice when we purchased some wooden items , but turned into a patronising & unfriendly over the top shop girl, when we asked for information about the artist, and was not forthcoming with any information.She lectured on & on in a nasty manner.So folks don't go there, we wont be back.
Great little souvenir shop. Beautiful huon pine pens at a very reasonable price. Ask the lady for a look at the beautiful huon pine fountain pen given to her as a keepsake. Other souvenirs were unique also reasonably priced. Supporter of local products and local artisans.
Had some really nice stuff in it; but, the lady who ran the shop was very rude and disrespectful. One of my little friends (12 years old) picked up a letter opener not knowing what it was and the lady said in a very angry tone Be careful thats a letter opener and its very sharp. I get that she wanted him to be safe but come on, that was a bit rude considering he was just interested and wanted to know what it was. We were going to buy some things but after that our family said nope. So good job lady, you just lost some business. Will never return.
With out a doubt the cheapest and best range of souvenirs in Northern Tasmania. The lady who runs this shop is so friendly and helpful and hopefully I will return there one day. Thank you.
